Site Info - History
The history of this fansite:

It has been almost two years since I started working on this site - I attempted to close many times and I did infact have another name as well, Michelle Trachtenberg Online. MTO never was up completely as I wanted to add more to the site and after I discovered that there was free domain name and hosting at Fancube I applied there and was accepted to run MichelleTrachtenberg.net. I renamed the site Delicate after one of my favourite season five Buffy quotes and I officially opened the site on the 27th September 2002 after months and months of collecting and making images. I did want this site to originally be only a gallery site which is why my main focus is pictures but I decided to expand the site and now have extensive filmography and press sections as well as much more. After a lot of server trouble during the first few months I was moved to a larger server. As this happened I had to re-upload all my files - and with over 5, 000 images at the time it took awhile so the site was offline over November. After that I opened the site again on the 5th of December and I have not had any trouble since then.

I have changed the layouts a couple of times since then but after the ending of Buffy I decided to put the site on hiatus in order to work more on the site - I went through all the images and re-uploaded new ones, I changed the gallery pages around and I made the gallery seperate to make it more organised. Then I made this a new layout in order to give the site a fresh, new look to go with the re-opening. After around a month on hiatus I put the new layout up on July 19th. Since then I have had two layouts, one was up until recently when this new version was loaded. I took a hiatus at the end of November and all of December. In that time I have worked on the site offline, focusing mainly on content and the new media section.

My host went down around October 2006, I tried contacting them but got no response. Re-uploading the site would be a lot of work so I decided not to reopen the site. I still followed all of Michelle's projects and when I found out about her new television pilot and films I felt inspired to bring Delicate back. I started uploading all the files again, it took a lot of time and I finally had everything up in May 2007. The site is currently hosted with Fan-Sites.org.
