Small information pieces in the press.
He mentioned that Sarah loves scaring Michelle . Freddie said that Michelle is scared of dirt and that Sarah's practical joke was throwing dirt at Michelle and pouring dirt down her pants! During the story Rosie said that she loved Michelle and mentioned doing Harriet the Spy with her. Sarah commented that Michelle very was cute. And it shows how close Michelle and Sarah are on and off the show.
Gotta Sing
"Singing makes me very, very nervous," adds Michelle Trachtenberg. "I love dancing. I said, 'Very little singing and a whole lot of dancing,' and Joss [demonstrated] the whole [choreography] - he showed me the loops and jumps."
"And he was wearing the same costume [as Dawn]," Alyson quips.
"Very slimming," Joss says.
"Alyson threatened it; I actually had it," Michelle recalls. "I had psychosomatic tonsillitis. I was petrified. There was a whole big tissue box fiasco."
Q: Did Michelle Tractenberg ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") have a bit part on an early episode of "Law & Order"?-R.F., Judsonia, Ark.
A: Whoa, nice catch! Yes, Trachtenberg didn't even get onscreen credit as Dinah Driscoll in an October 1991 episode called "God Bless the Child."
Amber Benson: I really like to hang out with Michelle Trachtenberg.
This is a daydream scene which was cut from ep 7.1 Lessons:
"My sister is a vampire slayer, her best friend is a witch who went bonkers and tried to destroy the world. Um, I actually used to be a little ball of energy until about two years ago when some monks changed the past and made me Buffy's sister, and for some reason, a big klepto. My best friends are Leticia Jones, who moved to San Diego because this town is evil, and floppy-eared demon named Clem."
Through the years, it has won
many Emmys and launched a number of stars into prime time and movies-
including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kim Delaney, Lacey Chabert, Josh Duhamel,
Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Finola Hughes, Melissa Leo, Anthony Ruivivar,
Daniel Sunjata, Holland Taylor, Lynne Thigpen and Michelle Trachtenberg.
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to give you guys a quick update on what is going on here in Canada for me. I have been a skating double for a movie that is filming in Toronto called "Ice Princess". It is a Disney production and it is a story about a girl who loves to skate and develops a talent for it through a project she is doing for a physics scholorship. I have been on set for about 3 weeks now, am blonde and have met a whole group of incredibly great people. The actress that I am skating for is Michelle Tractenberg, who is most well known for her roles as Buffy's sister in Buffy the Vampire Slayer from television and is in EuroTrip as well. She is fun, and has a great sense of humour and can skate a bit herself. This movie process is so completely different from anything I have ever done, and can't believe all the pre production work that goes into a film. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer wherever they are!! Jen
Much thanks to Allyson for sending that to me!

"I love shopping and reading. I like being with my friends, family,
boyfriend. I love watching DVDs at home in my sweat pants and with my
zit cream on. It's all great."
- Actor Michelle Trachtenberg, when asked about her hobbies, in Newsday
One day on the set of the Disney movie Ice Princess (2005), Michelle Trachtenberg did a photo shoot with professional figure skaters Michelle Kwan and Brian Boitano, who made cameo appearances in the film. "I bent down to show off a skating move," she later recalled, "and my pants split completely down the middle! Everyone could see I was wearing a thong. They yelled, 'Good job, Michelle!'"
This was the biggest party we went to during the festival, in terms of number of people. It was held in the CityTV (big Canadian network, owns MuchMusic think) parking lots and on part of Queen Street West, which was blocked off for the event. David ran us around for this one, taking us to meet any and everyone we could ( he worked real hard trying to get us into the red carpet entrance where we would get interviewed, but it just didn’t happen).
There had to be at least 2000 people there, and more than that filtering
through the night. Very good music, lots of cute people in there fineries, and
actually pretty pleasant considering the Hollywood vibe. Despite my experience
performing at big shows and producing events, I’m really not much of a big crowd
person in terms of hanging out….but this was actually OK. A few famous folks
here and there, and lots of press people that I recognized. At some point in the
party, Alex tapped me on the shoulder and said “said don’t panic- Michelle
Trachtenberg is standing right across from you”. Yes, the famous proto-knee-ga-roe
is a BIG Buffy/Angel/Firefly/anything Joss Whedon geek (SERENITY opens September
30th !!!! WOOOHOO!!! Take my love, Take my land….uh, OK I’m back.) so that kind
of proximity to Buffy’s little sister could have given me a heart attack….But I
was cool, y’all. I handled it and remembered I was there because I’m featured in
a movie. Even If I wanted to be a fanboy, she was standing with that kid that
played Iceman in” X-Men United” and they had a couple people in their grill
already. Wouldn’t have been cute of me.
Ringside seats: Joaquin Phoenix may be getting the most press for Walk the
Line right now, but he's also making waves as a music-video director. Hip reader
Michele A. pointed me to this clip for Tired of Being Sorry, directed by Phoenix
and performed by the L.A. band Ringside. There are so many stars in the video I
lost count: Aside from band member Balthazar Getty, it features appearances by
Casey Affleck, Michelle Trachtenberg, Christian Slater and Dermot Mulroney. And
get this: The song is pretty good, too
Trachtenberg starred in "Ice Princess" earlier this year and in that film she
played a high school senior. In this new movie she is supposed to be
twenty-three. She was more believable as the high school senior. Still it must
be recognized that her acting is great and her beauty is shimmering.
She is the standout star in this movie. Maher and Estes pale beside her. She
creates whatever watchability the movie has.
The film is difficult to understand as to what point is being made. This was
also a problem with the book from which it is taken. It was somewhat muddled so
the movie has to be too.
Michelle Trachtenberg is the reason to watch this movie. Her performance is
controlled and deep, two things the movie is not. So watch her but don't try to
figure out the script.
