Michelle Trachtenberg has wrapped up her role — for now — as bad girl Georgina Sparks on "Gossip Girl" and will be hitting the race track as a newbie professional driver in ABC Family’s "The Circuit," premiering Sunday, June 8 at 8 p.m.

"I got to be the girl in the fast lane," Michelle says in a one-on-one interview with ET. "I actually got to go behind the wheel of a real race car and whip it around the track. That was fun."

While the movie isn’t based on the life of Danica Patrick, Michelle says she did read a book about the female Indy racecar driver, who won her first race in Japan this past April. But if she has to choose between playing the race-car driving Kylie Shines in "The Circuit" or Georgina, the choice is clear.
