Stylehive was out celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Gen Art’s Styles International Design Competition at the Sunglass Hut store in Soho, where we caught up with the fabulous host, Gossip Girl star and self-proclaimed “sunglasses fiend” Michelle Trachtenberg.

Michelle looked absolutely stunning in her Diane Von Furstenberg dress and was like a kid in a candy store while trying on all the hot new summer shades. When it comes to sunglass trends, Michelle told Stylehive, “I do one extreme or the other, I either like really big, really dark, classic square frames or I do aviators. A Jackie O, dark plastic frame is great year round. But it’s fun to switch it up and have an aviator for the summer. And sometimes I’ll do like a Ray-ban Wayfarer, those are my three go-tos.”

Michelle wasn’t the only one having fun, Stylehive had a blast taking advantage of the new glitzed out Sunglass Hut. The enhanced store design is all about creating a customer-friendly experience, with a line of mirrors throughout the store, unlocked cases, and knowledgeable stylists who are more than happy to help you find the hottest, most flattering pair of shades.
