Michelle Trachtenberg to appear in Gossip GirlCW's Gossip Girl is getting ready for the arrival of a rival. According to
The Hollywood Reporter, actress Michelle Trachtenberg has landed the role of
Georgina Sparks in the series.
The character appears in the novel series which the series is based on, and
Sparks comes into Manhattan fresh out of rehab and poses an immediate threat to
Blake Lively's Serena van der Woodsen character. It was reported that Mischa
Barton was also up for the role.
Trachtenberg just wrapped shooting 17 with Zac Efron and she will be seen next
in Kids in America, alongside Topher Grace.
