New Limited Edition T-Mobile Sidekicks Star on the Red Carpet
T-Mobile USA, Inc.brought fashion and technology to the next level with the
debut of the
limited edition T-Mobile(R) Sidekick(R) devices at an exclusive, invite-only
launch event last night in Beverly Hills. Continuing their commitment to helping
consumers set themselves apart from the crowd through style and personalization,
T-Mobile has partnered with fashion legend Diane von Furstenberg and urban giant
Lifted Research Group (LRG) to create the latest generation of the iconic
T-Mobile Sidekick.
The launch event for the limited edition T-Mobile Sidekicks followed the
seasonal soiree hosted by Fred Segal Beauty founders Michael A. Baruch and Paul
DeArmas, along with Smashbox Cosmetics founders Dean and Davis Factor. These
long-time childhood friends hosted the leaders of the beauty and fashion
community like Paul Starr, Jennifer Nicholson, Michelle Trachtenberg and Tatiana
and Alex von Furstenberg at an exclusive dinner at Mr. Chow to celebrate and
recognize beauty and fashion in Los Angeles. Following the highly exclusive
dinner, beautiful and fashionable guests including Mischa Barton, Jenny
McCarthy, Pete Wentz and Slash joined them at the launch event to get the first
look at the new limited edition T-Mobile Sidekicks. For fashion's hottest event,
T-Mobile designed and constructed a custom- built boutique, featuring elaborate
venue settings. Stars such as Amber Tamblyn and Rumer Willis admired the Diane
von Furstenberg Sidekick from T-Mobile that accessorized the fashion icon's
latest designs in a replica of her freestanding Diane von Furstenberg the Shop
found all over the world and "tried on" the Diane von Furstenberg Sidekick from
T-Mobile with their own outfits. DMC and Chris Kattan checked out the Lifted
Research Group Sidekick from T-Mobile in a customized window display of a
campground setting that played off their design. Music icon Debbie Harry took
the stage, thrilling the fashion-forward crowd with a special acoustic set.
Following the performance, The MisShapes and DJ Albie kept Lindsay Lohan and
Mischa Barton dancing all night as Brandon Boyd, Anthony Michael Hall and Brody
Jenner lounged in the VIP section. Stars like Paris Hilton took home snaps of
themselves enjoying the party, taken by a roving photographer circulating
throughout the event.
