Diamond's Are A Girl's Best Friend
We got to spend some time trying on jewelry with one of our favorite
comediennes, Cheryl Hines of Curb Your Enthusiasm, on Friday at the Diamond
Aquifer jewelry suite, coordinated by our friends at BNC and held at the SoHo
House, which set up shop in LA for the week, and where we saw Best Actor
nominees Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Terrence Howard having a little 'pow wow'
and Lauren Graham (sans Matthew Perry) was receiving a pedi at the Aquifer spa.
More than $70 million worth of jewelry was on display at the Diamond Center,
including pieces from Renee Lewis, Munnu The Gem Palace, Martin Katz, Fred
Leighton, Jewelry by Rosalina, H. Stern, VBH, Vera Wang, Gilan, and DeBeers LV.
In addition to her duties on Curb, Cheryl Hines was also very excited to tell us
about Campus Ladies, a show on the Oxygen network that she exec produces with
her husband/manager.
We were a bit bummed that we weren't able to try on Scarlett Johansson's tiara
that she wore to the Oscar's last year, which was on loan to photographers.
However, we did get to chat with Scarlett's BFF, Miz Michelle Trachtenberg, who
is such a mischievous little creature!
The Buffy vet likes to phunk with our heart. Last time we saw Mizz T, we were
under the impression that she was dating former Olsen flame Scott Sartiano, who
is now allegedly dating Jamie-Lynne Sigler, though Michelle was adamant on
Friday that Jamie-Lynne and Scott were not dating at all.
Then, we ran into Trachtenberg at our office (the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf) on
Saturday, and she told us that she was just fucking with us.
It seems like Meadow Soprano indeed is definitely dating restaurateur Sartiano,
and Michelle is definitely dating Shawn Ashmore, who was with her at the Coffee
Bean.
The two just celebrated their second anniversary together, and Michelle proudly
displayed her Marc Jacobs necklace - an anniversary present from Shawn - to us.
The funniest thing of our chance encounter on Saturday was that both Michelle
and Perez were supposed to go to the Independent Spirit Awards that day, but we
were both too sick to make it.
We hear it was quite a party. Our future ex-boyfriend, Kevin Zegers, was there!
