Celebs get Candied
Pop music superstars Hilary Duff and Ciara have signed on to appear in the
saucy Candie's advertising campaign come this spring.
Joining the two singers will be actresses Michelle Trachtenberg and Samaire
Armstrong.
The four stars will team up for a barrage of television and print ads, marking
the first time that Candie's has employed a quartet of hot starlets to promote
their products.
"Any girl can wear Candie's!" enthuses Ciara. "Someone may relate to me or
Hilary or Michelle or Samaire, but what is great is that no matter what her
style she will relate to one of us. That's what makes it so real."
A multimedia attack will be waged on print, television, internet and in-store
come and the soundtrack to the television commercial will be Duff's song "Super
Girl" taken from her Most Wanted CD.
"When you see the Candie's ads, you can envision yourself with your friends
having a great time," remarked Duff.
