Buffy star for Black Christmas

'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' actress Michelle Trachtenberg has signed on to play the role of a sorority sister in the upcoming remake of horror film 'Black Christmas'.

The well-known horror film follows a killer who haunts the residents of a sorority house over the supposedly festive Christmas season, before eventually slaughtering them one by one.

Trachtenberg, who also made a name for herself in the comedy 'Eurotrip', will star as one of the sorority sisters alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Katie Cassidy and Oliver Hudson.

'Final Destination's' team of Glen Morgan and James Wong are set to produce 'Black Christmas' with shooting planned for later on this month, aiming for a Christmas 2006 release.
