Winter films offer variety of choices for local patrons
When winter's on the prowl with too much snow and cold,
just what is there to do in Big Bear for fun and entertainment? Five movie
screens located in the two Village Theater locations in Big Bear Lake can
provide the antidote to a bout with cabin fever.
Christmas time and the summer months are usually the times for the big hits and
top picks for the movie going experience, but according to Will Viner of Village
Theaters, the winter months ahead will feature some pretty good hits, too.
March roars into the Village like Vin Diesel with the comedy
"The Pacifier" on March 4. Diesel plays a Navy SEAL who finds out babysitting
isn't as easy as it looks. The makers of "Ice Age" come back with the animated
"Robots" on March 11, while Disney releases "Ice Princess," starring Michelle
Trachtenberg on March 18.
