'Buffy' star in 'Odd' talks - By JAM! Movies
Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actress Michelle Trachtenberg is in final discussions to star opposite Bijou Phillips ("Bully," "Almost Famous") in the indie film "Odd Girl Out." Trachtenberg would play a 17-year old boarding school student who clashes with a new student (Phillips), who has been sent reluctantly to the school by her troubled mother. More problems arise when Phillips' character falls in love with the cousin of Trachtenberg's character. Shooting is scheduled to start January 12 in Los Angeles with newcomer Deepika Daggubati at the helm.
Trachtenberg's upcoming films include the comedy "Eurotrip," followed by the indie drama "Mysterious Skin."
