Michelle has joined Kevin Smith’s new film A Couple of Dicks:

Jason Lee and Michelle Trachtenberg are joining Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan in Kevin Smith’s next movie, A Couple of Dicks, Variety reports. The comedy follows two cops as they track down a stolen baseball card and rescue a Mexican beauty, encountering gangsters and laundered drug money along the way. Trachtenberg plays Willis’ daughter; Lee plays her stepfather. Seann William Scott and Adam Brody also star.

The film sounds really fun, I am sure more information will be released soon. Apologies for not updating sooner, I am currently on vacation, I hope to get the recent photos up over the next few days!

Speculation is that Michelle will be returning to Gossip Girl in season three:

Question: I just finished watching the Gossip Girl finale, and it was awesome. My question for you is about Georgina: At the end of the episode she announced she was going to be Blair’s roommate at NYU – strongly implying that she would be a presence, if not a regular character, in season 3. But Michelle Trachtenberg is in NBC’s new fall drama, Mercy. What does this mean about Georgina and Gossip Girl? — Cory
Ausiello: It means producers thought ahead and made sure Trachtenberg negotiated a three-episode Gossip Girl “out” in her Mercy contract. You didn’t really think the Georgina-Blair roommate thing would last longer than that, did you?

No confirmation as yet but it does seem probable, especially as Mercy won’t likely premiere until 2010.

Michelle was only in one scene from this weeks Gossip Girl, but Georgina’s storyline has been left very open for a possible return in season three. I’ve added the clip from the episode , or click below. Screencaps up later.

NBC has revealed its Fall schedule, Mercy isn’t on it, it will instead be premiering mid-season during Winter on Wednesdays at 8pm. It’s disappointing that we won’t get to see it in the Fall. I’ve got more misc. stuff to add in, I’ll do it a little later.

Michelle has attended two new events: Meet The Stars Of NBC’s New Shows and Rebecca Minkoff Fall ‘09 Apparel Launch at Confederacy. I love the Rebecca Minkoff ones, her red jacket is lovely and her hair is gorgeous!

I finally was able to watch the new Gossip Girl, Michelle was not actually in the episode, even though she was listed in the press release. The trailer for next weeks episode 2×25 The Goodbye Gossip Girl has been released, Georgina is in it briefly:

Michelle was on Chelsea Lately on Thursday night, I had no idea until after it had already aired. Michelle looked gorgeous as always, she talks about Gossip Girl, 17 Again and Mercy. It’s a fun watch:

NBC has picked up Mercy to be part of its fall line up. Michelle’s character is Chloe Payne.

‘Mercy,’ another medical drama, portrays the lives of the staff at Mercy Hospital through the eyes of its nurses. Nurse Veronica Callahan (Taylor Schilling, ‘Dark Matter’) returns to Mercy from a military tour in Iraq — and she knows more about medicine than all of the residents combined. She and two other nurses, Sonia Jimenez (Jamie Lee Kirchner, ‘Rescue Me’) and Chloe Payne (Michelle Trachtenberg, ‘Gossip Girl’), navigate their personal and professional lives. The cast also includes: James Tupper (’Men in Trees’) as Chris Sands, a new doctor at the hospital who complicates Veronica’s life; Diego Klattenhoff (’Supernatural’) as Mike Callahan, Veronica’s husband; and Guillermo Díaz (’Weeds’) as nurse Angel Lopez. It was created by Liz Heldens (NBC’s ‘Friday Night Lights’) and is executive produced by Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts (’Pushing Daisies,’ ‘Pepper Dennis’) .

You haven’t seen inside a hospital until you’ve seen it through the eyes of those who know it best: its nurses. Veronica Callahan is one of those nurses. ‘The wonderful thing about Mercy is that its really a heart and soul and you want to connect to these characters because you can see so much of yourself in these characters and you can sort of project yourself into these situations and feel what their emotions are and everyone is a real life person that’s what’s kind of special’.

I am so glad it got picked up, it sounds and looks like an awesome role for Michelle, it will be great to see her back on our tv screens every week, as soon as more information is released I’ll post it in. I still have the new Gossip Girl episode to watch so Georgina clips will be up a little later, so keep checking back.
